(ECNS) -- As this year's spring travel rush approaches, China Eastern Airlines plans to operate 783 passenger aircraft, with the total flight hours expected to exceed 330,000.
Four Chinese home-grown C919 jetliners will join the fleet to serve the Beijing-Shanghai and Shanghai-Chengdu routes for the first time.
The company is expected to operate 3,280 passenger flights every day during the travel rush period, which is a 42 percent increase compared to 2023.
This year's travel rush will last for 40 days from Jan. 26 to March 5.
